The Kingsley Obiukwu Foundation recently concluded a heartwarming Women’s Day outreach that touched lives, stirred emotions, and reaffirmed one powerful truth: the women of Nnewi are the heartbeat of our community.
Reaching Every Corner, One Market at a Time
Across the 18 main markets in Nnewi North, Ekwusigo, and Nnewi South Federal Constituency, our team went from stall to stall, market to market, carrying a simple but powerful message: you are seen, you are valued, and you are loved.
The response was overwhelming. Smiles, warm embraces, heartfelt prayers, and tears of gratitude greeted us at every stop. These were not just gestures; they were reminders of why this work matters.
Our Founder Leads by Example
What made this outreach even more special was the personal involvement of our founder, Mr. Kingsley Obiukwu, who was physically present and actively participated in sharing gifts and goodie bags to the women across the markets. His hands-on presence sent a clear message that this foundation is not just about words but about showing up, rolling up your sleeves, and serving the people directly. Seeing their founder among them brought smiles to the faces of both the team and the women they came to celebrate.
Strength, Resilience, and Beauty on Full Display
The women we met were not waiting to be rescued. They were already showing up every single day, building families, running businesses, and holding their communities together. Our outreach was simply an opportunity to pause, acknowledge their efforts, and celebrate their incredible spirit.
